Yoshinori Kitase has stated various times that they won't make it until EVERYBODY that worked on the original FFVII is free to work on a remake. Most of them are busy with FFXIII.

Metal Gear games should ONLY be reviewed by gamers that actually PLAYED the previous games in the series. That way stupid websites like Eurogamer don't have to complain about how "confusingly frustrating" the story is. That website needs to be shut down. EDGE magazine too. Most PS3 exclusives get low reviews from them and lets not forget GameSpot, which will probably end up giving MGS4 an 8 too.
